The scratch win­ners were Tori Walker, Greg Walker and Rylie McDon­ald.

This team birdied ev­ery hole on the back nine.

The hand­i­cap win­ners were Chris Ben­nett, Les Desmier and Rob Brown­lee who fin­ished five un­der.

The run­ners up in the hand­i­cap were Dav Mack­rell, Kris­ten Moore and John Moore.

Line balls went to Greg Han­son, Gerry Han­son, Jane Fletcher, Roger Had­den, Ger­ald Hard­ing, Shan Kemp, Beat Van Der Schoor and Jack McDon­ald.

Near­est the pins: on the 4th Chris Palmer, on the 8th Tori Walker, on the 15th Greg Walker and on the 17th Les Desmier.

Sun­day was big one - the ‘Strath­bo­gie Open’.

Fifty-five men took cards play­ing in windy con­di­tions which didn’t de­ter Matthew Mills from Euroa win­ning with a score of 72 (69 nett).

The hand­i­cap win­ner was Jack McDon­ald 76 (69 nett) and the run­ner up was Ian Richard­son.

The B grade win­ner was Greg Roberts, Strath­bo­gie 83 (69 nett) and Alan Pell was the run­ner up, with Mick Dixey, Strath­bo­gie, 88 (73 nett), on a count back.

The C grade win­ner was Den­nis Hardic 87 (71 nett) and the run­ners up were Gar­rick Camp­bell and Alan Ak­er­stron.

Near­est the pins: on the 4th Bill Barlow, Rush­worth, who scored his first ‘Hole in One’, on the 8th Mick Palmer, How­long, on the 15th Peter Cur­tis and on the 17th Paddy McCarthy.

The Euroa ju­nior win­ner was Jack McDon­ald.

Line balls went to Ry­ley McDon­ald 74, David Ken­nett 74, Peter Nel­son 75, Chris MacKay 75, Bill Barlow 75, James Smith 75 and Peter Cur­tis 75.

The club should be very proud of the pre­sen­ta­tion and run­ning of this event, for a small club they punch above their weight.

Clubs came from Rush­worth, Yea, Euroa, Shep­par­ton, Marysville, 13th Beach, How­long, Tocumwal, Avenel and Broad­ford.

Golf next Satur­day will be a stroke event and the 4th round of the club cham­pi­onship with Chris Ben­nett look­ing af­ter pro­ceed­ings.
