Splen­dorous time by the river

race along the Goul­burn River from just past the Chi­na­man’s Bridge (from 10am-noon) and many saw it fin­ish at the equally his­toric Tah­bilk Win­ery’s Cel­lar Door (with the last boat ar­riv­ing about 12:45pm)

A “car­ni­val” at­mos­phere was cre­ated with the “Deep Blue” Band from Bendigo, en­ter­tain­ing the crowd at the Tah­bilk Win­ery fin­ish­ing area.

A num­ber of lo­cal ven­dors sup­plied the much needed vi­tals and re­fresh­ments, and Tah­bilk Cel­lar door also did a roar­ing trade, with our city and in­ter­state friends sam­pling and tak­ing home some of our World­class lo­cal prod­uct.

Fowles and Mitchel­ton winer­ies were also rep­re­sented and en­joyed a brisk busi­ness.

Con­grat­u­la­tions to the Nagam­bie Row­ing Club on their suc­cess­ful re­gatta for the next row­ing sea­son.
