ON Sunday, November 18, Shane McCormick shot his equal best score of 76 to record 42 stableford points and take the win by a comfortable four point margin.

McCormick’s round had its usually consistent down the middle play about it as well as chipping and pitching the ball close to the pins all day, then capitalizing with the putter.

The runner up, with somewhat of a return to form, was David Love producing a two better than handicap 38 points.

Love finished ahead of the ever-consistent Tim Baldwin also on 38 points by way of count back.

The nearest the pins had some surprise results with Jeff Lodding reaching the 3rd, Glen Evans mowing down the 8th, Alby Seenan playing a crisp strike into the 13th and Dean Brown collecting the 16th.

Next week’s golf is the annual ‘President v Captain’ day with B. Cryer and J. Lodding on office duty and T. Baldwin in the bar.
