MusoMagic spreading its wizardry across Euroa

Euroa Gazette - - NEWS -

LOCAL kids from around Euroa are getting on board an initiative that helps give back to their communities in a musical way.

MusoMagic provides innovative, outstanding workshops and programs that unite, engage, motivate and empower groups of all ages and backgrounds through the magic of song.

The MPower group in Euroa is a musomagic community group that continues the work of musomagic all year round, by engaging with the community and working together.

MusoMagic leads groups through activities designed to lift them out of their comfort zones and, in the bonding process, create a song that reflects the group’s shared themes and values.

This year the kids from MPower have participated in Clean Up Australia Day, National Tree Day and have worked with Violet Town Bush Nursing Centre to bridge the gap between generations.

For their final 2018 project, the MPower team are travelling to Alice Springs, stopping in communities on the way to run workshops right across Australia and write a Christmas carol with all of the local children.

This trip is an incredible opportunity for the MPower team to grow as individuals and as a group.

The trip will conclude with MPower joining the staff at the Alice Springs Resort at the Carols by Candlelight at Uluru.

You can follow the MPower crew on their journey @ musikarma_ aus on Instagram.
