Light up your Christ­mas

MANY of us will have fond mem­o­ries, as both adults and chil­dren, of see­ing some of the amaz­ing dis­plays of Christ­mas Lights around town in the lead up to Christ­mas.

Over the next cou­ple of weeks our town is set to sparkle with the ef­forts of many of our res­i­dents and busi­nesses as they fi­nal­ize their Christ­mas dis­plays.

The ef­forts of these in­di­vid­u­als, fam­i­lies and busi­nesses are a credit to the com­mu­nity spirit of our town and a re­flec­tion of our will­ing­ness to share the joy of the fes­tive sea­son.

The Euroa Cham­ber of Com­merce have joined in the fes­tiv­i­ties with the an­nounce­ment that late night hours for Christ­mas trad­ing. Will be held on Thurs­day De­cem­ber 13th and 20th – with shops open un­til 7pm.

Stephanie Swift, the re­cently ap­pointed Pres­i­dent of the Euroa Cham­ber of Com­merce added that Free Santa Claus pho­tos will be avail­able from about 5pm on­wards on these nights, with a spe­cial area down the street set up for him. Ev­ery­one is wel­come to come and get their photo taken with the jolly man!

An­der­son St, Arm­strong St, Atkins St, Allen St, Bran­jee Rd, Burns Ave, Barns St, Brock St, Creek Dve, Char­man Ave, Cas­tle Crt, Charles St, Cree St, DeBoos St, El­iz­a­beth St, El­iza Ave, Graham St, Gobur St, Han­nah Crt, Hol­land St, Hunter St, Hal­sall Crt, Kirk­land Ave, Kennedy St, Lit­tle Ln, Mans­field Rd, Mernda Ave, Plea­sance Ln, Platt St, Pep­per­corn Place, Rowe St, Saxon St, Sco­bie St, Strath­bo­gie Rd, Turn­bull St, and White St.

Ad­di­tional Christ­mas lights may also be seen in Max­field St in Long­wood.

As res­i­dents and busi­nesses set up, the would wel­come any pic­tures of your dis­play so that we can pub­lish a few over the com­ing weeks.
