Both of these players played before the rain that drenched the afternoon players.
On Saturday a big number took on the course in the monthly medal.
For a change, six players beat the course which just shows just how well the course is playing.
Beat Van Der Schoor won the ladies with 74 nett and the men’s was won by Braydan Millar with 61 nett.
Line balls went to Mick Bolton with 65 nett, Robin Weatherald with 66 nett, David Kennett with 70 nett, Rohan Harris with71 nett and Rob Brownlee with 71 nett.
Nearest the pins: on the 4th Mardi Trescowthick, on the 8th Alan Rowarth, on the 15th Mike Dixey and on the 17th Rob Brownlee.

Two knockout matches were played under Helen Hill’s new format with Mick Dixey defeating Lorraine Pemberton 2/1 and David Kennett defeated Beat Van Der Schoor, also 2/1.
The medallist for 2018 was won by Rohan Harris.
Next Saturday’s game is a four ball stableford aggregate, draw for a partner.
