Euroa Gazette - - NEWS -

WITH more than 1000 display vehicles and well in excess of 8000 spectators and their families attending the Australian National Show and Shine event in Euroa each year, manpower for the multiple entry gates is at high demand.

Operating on a not-for-profit basis, the Show and Shine Committee is largely dependent on volunteers from a range of local clubs and organisations to help out with a variety of essential tasks on the day.

The committee’s recent presentation night recognised the valuable contributions of several of these groups with the awarding of Certificates of Appreciation and donations to the clubs involved.

The Euroa Show and Shine is obligated under their constitution to not only run a world class event, but also to promote tourism to the Strathbogie Shire, and to support local charitable causes and sporting clubs via the receipts from entry fees.
