Lo­cals fin­ish off year with a fes­tive sing along

THE an­nual Car­ols by Can­dle­light in Euroa proved a suc­cess with sev­eral gath­er­ing on the grass at Seven’s Creek Park to en­joy a night of won­der­ful mu­sic.

Euroa Ci­ti­zen’s Band hosted the night, pro­vid­ing end­less en­ter­tain­ment for pa­trons who held their can­dle’s high.

With over 100 peo­ple in at­ten­dance, Euroa Ci­ti­zen’s Band’s Chris Day said the night was won­der­ful and en­joyed by all.

The au­di­ence were also treated to per­for­mances by the Strath­bo­gie Singers, local gui­tarist Gabe Chowanetz with singer Al­lanah Caldera and The Bal­mat­tum Belles, who were all MC’d by the inim­itable Gayle Maw­son.

The sound and light­ing skills of Gary Chowanetz were highly re­garded and the Euroa Lions bar­be­cue kept ev­ery­one fed.

To top off the fabulous fam­ily friendly night, a visit from the man in red man­aged to bring a smile to plenty of faces.
