Reid Stockfeeds new look packaging

-

At this year’s Lardner Park Field Days, Reid Stockfeeds will be showcasing their new look dairy stockfeed packaging within MG Trading’s tent. The bags will begin appearing within stores over the next month.

The new bags feature a separate tab and rip which will make opening them a much faster and easier prospect and are loaded with other features including attractive photo quality information on both the front and back of the bags and includes feeding instructions, and an anti-skid design to provide stability in pelletisation and bag stitch allowing the stock feed to breathe.

“The stock feed will be the same quality product which saw us become a top four stock feed distributor with MG Trading across Victoria (in our first year) but the bag design is now far superior,” said Marketing Manager Nick Reid.

“We believe the previous bag designs weren’t adequately supporting the message we try to project to our customers, which is one about using premium feed ingredients to extract the best health, fertility and milk output from your herd”.

He said Reid Stockfeeds understood that the dairy industry has seasonal feeding needs and it was important that their packaging reflects the quality of crushed grain mixes that are put together by their multi certified milling plants.

“We back our products for superior consistency and quality against most other competitors in stock feed. Our plants are all ISO9001 certified together with being Feedsafe accredited. Striving for better processes is a constant which has been key to our business over the last 33 years.”

“Particular focus has been investment in our mill infrastructure in the last 12-months to ensure the customer is supplied with crushed grain’s formulations that meet an even higher level of scrutiny”.
