The Reeve floating pontoon is truly multi-purpose
The Reeve Floating Pontoon provides the link between collecting animal effluent from your dairy or piggery (or even an abattoir) and applying this free and valuable fertiliser onto farm pasture.
The heavy duty moulded polyethylene pontoon, complete with a Reeve Vertical Cantilever Pump, floats in your pond or lagoon and since it is always primed is ready at the flick of a switch to recycle waste water or to de-sludge a pond and efficiently pump away effluent.
The 2.5 metre long x 1.5 metre wide pontoon comes complete with a fully hot dipped galvanised steel frame designed for mounting the Reeve effluent pump, although other pumps weighing up to about 230 kg can also easily be fitted.
The pontoon is designed to be tethered by up to four lines to allow simple positioning anywhere on a pond surface.
When used for pumping water or effluent onto pasture the Reeve Travelling Irrigator or the Manurain Big Gun Sprinkler completes this profitable and highly efficient recycling system.
The inherent stability of the Reeve pontoon allows for routine pump inspection, lubrication and maintenance to be performed without the need to lift either the pontoon or the pump out of the dam or lagoon.
Apart from being ideal as a floating platform for pumping out effluent ponds or lagoons, a Reeve pontoon can act as a handy landing platform or a stable mounting arrangement for any number of aquatic requirements and if decked can be an ideal swimming platform.
Six solid mounting lugs moulded into the pontoon allow for 5/8” mounting bolts to securely attach any individually built mounting frame or platform, providing maximum flexibility of use for many agricultural or industrial pumping and mine tailings applications.
