Fast Bikes Magazine: Soooo then, Jack Miller replaces Scott Redding at Pramac, and now it transpires Scotty will be jumping on an Aprilia for 2018, yet at the expense of Sam Lowes. Unfair on Scott being binned by Pramac? Unfair on Sam being binned by Aprilia? Great business by both Jack and Scott? All’s fair in love, war and business? What say you?! Pic: Rob Gray

Trevor Jones: I can’t understand why they do this mid season. Not good for morale at all.

Andrew Hartshorn: Sam should either come back to BSB or WSBK, to a team that respects him and will assist his development and get him winning again. No point going back to Moto2...

Alex Paulukiewicz: Think it’s harsh on Sam Lowes, let’s be honest he’s been a bit of a scapegoat this season for Aprilia’s problems. In his rookie season too. If anybody deserves to be binned off it’s Tito Rabat, he’s had a few seasons and looks largely underwhelming! Kev Challis: I think Pramac and Aprilia have been unfair to the

British lads, give them a different bike to their teammates yet expect the same results.

Josh Roesler: I’m sad to see Scott leave Pramac but glad he’s still in MotoGP, Aprilia should be good if he gets a chance to develop the bike with Aleix... Hopefully Miller can shine on a Duc and keep that Australian/Ducati legacy alive.

Jay Gaurav Bhalla: I think it makes sense. Lowes hasn’t performed. It’s been an abysmal time for him. Miller has shown more potential than Redding. Redding can be given a chance to show results for Aprilia. Matty Nicholls: Scott hasn’t got over the fact he lost out on a 2017 Ducati to Petrucci. He’s had his head up his arse since. Unfair on his team to run a 2016 and 17 in the same team. Sam has been poor and hasn’t really taken his chance so can’t complain.

Simon Gunton: It’s shit all round for both the Brits. Scott needs a decent bike in order for his talent to come through. I’m hoping the Aprilia gets some test time so Scott can get some results next year. Not sure what I can see jack doing on the Ducati but you never know.
