The RSV has always been the ‘working man’s Ducati’ and for under £5k you can get the second ‘twin-pipe’ generation of the high-specification Factory version with its Öhlins suspension and lightweight OZ Racing wheels. In terms of value for money it is hard to fault and if V-twins are your thing the RSV provides bags of thrills with decent reliability. The only issue with the RSV is the fact that despite all its bling, the Factory fails to feel special in the same kind of way a Ducati does. If you can dig up an extra £1,000 you might be able to bag an RSV4 instead…
