The RSV has always been the ‘working man’s Ducati’ and for under £5k you can get the second ‘twin-pipe’ generation of the high-specificat­ion Factory version with its Öhlins suspension and lightweigh­t OZ Racing wheels. In terms of value for money it is hard to fault and if V-twins are your thing the RSV provides bags of thrills with decent reliabilit­y. The only issue with the RSV is the fact that despite all its bling, the Factory fails to feel special in the same kind of way a Ducati does. If you can dig up an extra £1,000 you might be able to bag an RSV4 instead…
