The 1250 RT now comes with Hill Start Control, Automatic Stability Control ( ASC) and two riding modes as standard, with the option of Riding Modes Pro which includes Dynamic riding mode for Dynamic Traction Control (DTC). Cornering is made safer by ABS Pro as well as the new Dynamic Brake Control System (DBC) system which reduces drive to the rear wheel when the throttle is unintentionally activated when braking, to keep the bike stable and shorten the braking distance.

An analogue speedo and rev counter is complemented by a new 5.7in TFT full- colour dash.
