DO A EURO TRACKDAY

-

Is your passport still valid? You’d better go and check, because this is one jolly you won’t want to miss out on. We love a good trackday, but if there’s one thing that can top a trackday, it’s doing several trackdays in a row… with plenty of sunshine to wash it all down. If we’ve whetted your appetite for such a gig, you should really take a look at a European trackday. They typically take place over three days at some exotic circuit, offering ridiculous amounts of track time and more laughs than you’d get from a comedian. The track time is much more relaxed than a normal UK gig and the groups are normally split according to your lap times, so you’re grouped with genuinely like-paced riders. Best still, all you have to do is get a bike to a depot and the event organiser will haul your pride and joy, plus tools and tyre warmers, to warmer climes on your behalf. You should expect to pay around £600 for this kind of opportunity, and that typically includes your hotel and breakfast too. But you should probably start saving towards your beer costs well in advance, because that’s where things get expensive – when the track closes, the fun carries on back at the bar… believe us.
