The latest Fiesta ST has taken the tuning world by storm, with more and more products being released to improve the little hot-hatch on a seemingly daily basis. However, until now dedicated suspension kits for the ST have been few and far between. Finsport’s Jay Finlay has just put that right in conjunction with Bilstein and Eibach, and developed a kit specifically tailored towards the ST’s needs, and is not an adpatation of an existing kit for lesser Mk7 Fiesta models.
In truth, the standard Fiesta ST is a very well balanced car, but as a mainstream production car it has to be all things to all people. True, it has a massive leaning towards performance, but has to be equally at home for trips to the shops too.
But with a few adjustments to the springs and dampers, it can be tweaked to be more in tune with what we want and less of a compromise. Its fast-road capabilities can therefore be improved upon and the car better prepared for any track work too.
