WELCOME TO THE JANUARY ISSUE!

Merry Christmas everyone! Too soon? Maybe, but by the time the next issue hits the shelves Christmas would have been and gone. Where does the time go? 2016 has just flown by!

All this talk of Christmas might get you worrying about presents, especially if you’re anything like me and leave it all to the last minute! But fear not, we’ve got a fantastic spread of excellent gift ideas for the Ford fan. All cost less than £50, and all will make brilliant stocking fillers - just leave the magazine open on page 20, lying around in an area of the house a loved one will spot it and ( fingers crossed) they’ll get the hint! Failing that, take the more direct approach and just show them which gifts you want!

As it’s the start of a new year you’ll notice some changes being made to the mag for 2017, starting with the reintroduction of proper ‘buying guides’. Packed with all the essential info you’ll need, we’ll help make sure you buy the best example you can. To kick things off, this issue we’re looking at the mighty Sierra Cosworth. The rapid march towards 2017 also means that it’s time for our Car Of The Year competition. We’ve shortlisted 10 of our favourites but we need your help to choose the winner. Check out the contenders on page 37, and then head to our new, revitalised website and vote for your favourite. The one with the most votes wins! As well as all this Christmas and New Year-based content we’ve also got some truly awesome feature cars this issue too. There’s no way you could miss Rich Fox’s Focus RS - it’s one of the most recognisable and talked-about cars in the entire scene! - but we’ve also got a race-spec Saph Cossie, a turbocharged XR2, and a simply stunning 330bhp S2 RS Turbo too!
