WELCOME TO THE NOVEMBER ISSUE!
Well, that summer went quickly! I know we've enjoyed some of the best weather a UK summer has ever offered over the past few months, and that it's lasted much longer than we ever expected – so really we shouldn't have anything to complain about – but a little part of me can't help but feel sad that another summer show season is drawing to a close. At the risk of sounding like a character from Game of
Thrones, 'Winter is coming...' But, before those dark nights do finally descend upon us and everyone starts banging on about Christmas, there are still a couple of shows and meets left to cram in to 2018.
As I type this, we're just about to load everything up ready to head to Ford Fest at Santa Pod, and by the time you lot get to read it we'll be getting everything together for TRAX too – fingers crossed the dry weather holds out for just a few more weeks.
You'll be able to pop and see us at both of these awesome events, and some of you will even be part of the Fast Ford stand at TRAX, having chosen to display your cars as part of the Ford paddock. We'll be there, and I'm hoping to have my recently refreshed Focus RS on show too, so pop over and take a look. While I do feel a little sad the summer show season is coming to an end, we must remember the Ford action never stops – which is why we've been incredibly busy over the recent weeks making sure everything's in place to bring you guys the very best the Blue Oval scene has to offer, even if the shows and meets have stopped. That means we've been busy snapping plenty of cool content to keep your Blue Oval addiction quenched throughout those upcoming long winter nights. You can expect to see all sorts of exciting features gracing these pages in coming issues – including a special issue on 'forgotten fast Fords' next time – but kicking things off this month we've got an eclectic mix of fine feature cars, plus all the show reports, club meets, tech guides and buying advice you've become accustom to reading in the UK's number one Ford tuning magazine. Enjoy the mag!
