Ford Fest signs off a sublime summer of action-packed Ford events and shows…
Ford Fest is now in its fourth year, and has quickly gained a reputation as an end-of-season show for Ford fans. It attracts everyone and everything; as long as it has a Ford badge it’s more than welcome. Classics sit alongside the very latest models, while immaculate show cars share the paddock with some of the fastest Fords in existence. Basically, it’s a little piece of Blue Oval heaven.
Those that were brave enough to venture out for last year’s event will remember the ‘flood of 2017’, but this year the Ford Gods were shining down on us and blessed us with a day of glorious sunshine, and not a single drop of the wet stuff!
That meant the drag strip was in action continuously throughout the day, and the thousands of club cars on displays were all able to look their very best and glisten in the late summer sunshine.
As ever, there was plenty going on both on and off the drag strip throughout the day. In addition to the fantastic Ford displays, there was a packed Retail Village, Ford-only RWYB on the drag strip (with plenty of records being broken on the ideal track conditions!), show and shine competitions, and even a car available to win for just £1.
