OGIER WINS RALLY GB

The M-Sport Ford World Rally Team are back in the title fight as Sebastian Ogier and Julien Ingrassia have taken victory at the Dayinsure Wales Rally GB. The plucky duo became the event’s most successful pairing, taking their fifth Welsh win – but even more importantly than that, the result sees them climbing back to second place in the championship with all to play for. With two events still to run and sixty points up for grabs, Ogier and Ingrassia are now trailing the lead by just seven points…

“This victory really does mean a lot to the whole team,” said Team Principal Malcolm Wilson OBE. “We knew that we could deliver a strong result this weekend and that all three of our crews had the ability to fight for the top positions. Locked in such an intense battle, their performance through the last three stages was brilliant. It puts us back on track in the driver and co-driver standings and I’m as excited as every rally fan to see how it plays out over the last two events.”
