Peter’s car is one we’ve spotted a good few times in the past. No wonder as he’s owned it for 20 years and is a veteran of the show scene. And not just Show & Shine, Peter competed in modified concours for years up and down the country with his immaculate Saph. There’s plenty of cleanliness and powdercoated parts, but also a healthy spec putting out 400bhp too. A T34.63/GT30 hybrid turbo, wasted spark conversion, and Siemens 55lb injectors give it plenty of go, plus smart mods like a Reyland hydraulic clutch conversion ensure it’s nice to drive. Peter might wince at compliments of how mint his car is given that it may have been cleaner in competition before, but we can barely tell the difference and believe that the car will be a whole lot more fun now being used rather than judged!
