HOW HARD
Depends entirely on the age of your Focus and whether or not it’s been apart recently. Our 2012 ST (with Ford FSH) looked like its rear brakes were untouched, and thus required repairs – including new pad springs, brake lines and the drilling out of seized components. On a newer car the job should be a breeze
HOW LONG
Theoretically a couple of hours, but don’t underestimate what should be a straightforward job. Allow yourself a full day or afternoon, just in case something goes wrong (which ours did, on almost everything)
