This stealthy S- Max could be the ultimate sleeper, because under the bonnet lies a tuned version of the same 2.5-litre lump from a Focus ST. “I did all of the work myself,” says Ben “it really surprises people.” He isn’t done yet though: “I’m forging the engine, so the next step is to get 500bhp out of it,” he smiles. That should make it one truly mental MPV. Now that will surprise a few people.
