WHERE TO BUY ONE
Sourcing your ST will depend on the car’s age and the cash you can spend. Many buyers will be relying on finance, so a reputable dealer is the answer. Plenty of STs are still in the Ford network, so try your local dealership – there’s a fair chance they’ll not be any dearer than non-franchised dealers, but don’t expect better service than you’d find at an average car supermarket.
Many ST250s are sold privately, through Auto Trader, eBay and classified ads, but remember that finance fact – a history check is vital to ensure the car is owned by the seller and not the lender.
Finally, don’t forget physical auctions as a source for a cut-price ST.
