FAST FORD STAND
Naturally, Ford Fair wouldn’t be the show it is without the UK’s number one Ford tuning mag in attendance. Our magazine display, sponsored by HP Tuners, not only offered fantastic subscription deals, the chance to pick up any back issues you might have missed, or get your hands on the cool branded merchandise and special edition bookazines up for grabs, it was also packed full of the best past, present, and future feature cars too. If you ever hear anyone complaining that ‘Ford Fair is just for modern Fords’ then they clearly need to head to our stand; this year we had an eclectic mix of everything from a concours RS200, through stunning RS Turbos, crazy-power Cossies, fast-road Focuses (inc one that’s been converted to 4x4!) right through to Mk3 Focus RSs and Mustangs. And if that’s still too new, head over to our sister title, Classic Ford, and you’d find a stand full of the favourite Fords from yesteryear!
It wasn’t just show cars on stand either, as we had a cool selection of the UK’s Fastest Fords on display too. These big-power machines are, as the name suggests, some of the fastest things you’d find anywhere at the show, and don’t worry, we didn’t keep them cooped up on stand all day – they even had their own special track sessions where they were joined by a selection of race cars from the Ford Saloon Series, and even Paul Swift is his Millington-powered Mk2 Escort rally car as he terrified lucky passengers in the same sessions!
