TRACK TIME

The damp start to proceedings meant only the hardcore track guys made use of the testing Castle Combe circuit early on. But once a dry line appeared, more and more cars got on track, including editor Jamie in his Mk3 Focus RS. Having already been out for a very sedate parade lap with the kids, this time he was able to give it some beans, although the car wasn’t playing ball.

“It was backing off the power, like it was getting too hot, so I’ll have to look into it,” he explained on returning to the stand.
