PRESENTATIONS

-

The club’s sponsor, Modatek, donated an engraved Cosworth Formula One piston as a rather special trophy to award to the Car of the Show. No easy task considering the level of quality metal on display, but it was Jon Mansell and his beautifully-presented beast of a Sierra Cosworth that the CDC admins unanimously chose as the worthy winner. We have to agree with their decision.

That wasn’t the only presentation on the day, either. We’ve said before that CDC prides itself on the family atmosphere within the club, and that was evident once again from the heartfelt presentations to families of CDC members who are no longer with us. Steve Newbery and Martin Wood both sadly lost their battles with cancer in 2020, and the club admin used this event to present their families with personalised memorabilia. Nice touch, and one that just underlines the true family vibe within the club.
