One of my favorite couples exercises.

Often when we are intimate we are experienci­ng pleasure but also thinking about pleasing our partner. We’re wondering, do they find me sexy?

Am I doing everything right? And so on. This shared experience was designed to allow one partner of the coupling to completely relax into receiving pleasure from their person without having to move into logical thinking.

Set this up in your sacred temple and create a comfortabl­e space for one partner to lay down. The partner receiving should be the only party that is naked. Place some meditation music on and ask your person to continue to breathe. Remind them if required during the experience. Make sure your person is comfortabl­e by supporting their head and legs with cushions, making sure your love temple is comfortabl­y warm and the lighting is soft.

Begin by reminding your person that this time is purely for their pleasure and to become more comfortabl­e with simply receiving. Pour your chosen lubricant over the genital region and with the

‘softest’ touch run your fingers up and down the clitoris for women and penile shaft to hood for men. I recommend using natural oils such as olive oil or coconut oil over lubricants as this is more of a gentle loving massage experience with an aim to honor and worship your person’s whole being.

Your person may or may not orgasm and either result is perfectly fine, sometimes we just need gentle touch. At the climax of your sharing, take time to hold each other and become present to the energy exchange. This is how we create intimacy and what takes our love making to universal heights.
