Mentor with me

-

To create change, you must recognise it and you must be willing to create your own path towards it, no matter how hard that can be.

Your career or business transformation is never a straight path and might be very different from someone else’s path.

When I meet a new client, I see beyond the person standing in front of me. I see someone who had the courage to step out of their comfort zone and who took the opportunity to extend their boundaries. I see someone who is looking for a happier, more fulfilling life and wants to make changes for themselves.

From the onset, we work together to help define YOUR path and acknowledge that what you

WANT and NEED may very well change during the various stages of your life.

You’ll be surprised at how much difference every small change makes. I call this the ‘small measured steps’ process. Every step is about a new opportunity. One where YOU get to decide the outcome. What matters is to step in and start the process to shape YOUR story and YOUR path forward one step at a time.

Working with me is about future proofing yourself, and being the version, you want to be for YOU.

Let’s start by creating the story, building confidence and ensuring that every small measured step gets celebrated.

Over the years I have met so many amazing humans that I often wonder why it is that our paths have crossed, and what it is that’s brought us together?

What does this connection truly mean? Who are they at their core and what true purpose do they have? And do they know their purpose? Do we share values? When they say something does that transcend to their actions and beliefs? Will our paths cross again?

Meeting new people has helped shape the person that I am today and I am most grateful to each of them. Becoming conscious of being present in that moment, and giving that connection an opportunity to form is important to me. This applies in business and in my personal life. Aligning values is integral in what I do and this has enabled me to create my journey forward.

Like so many amazing humans I am sure that you too have a vision, a thought or an idea of where you want to be and what you want to be doing in the years ahead. Perhaps a passion, an interest or a hobby that you believe could be more ‘one day’. Whilst everyone’s journey may be different, I know the joy and energy that comes from doing what you love every single day. It may come with its challenges, but those challenges deliver creativity and allow you to explore ‘what else’ can be achieved. When you can encapsulate your passion and create that into your side hustle, small business or a business that has just gone national or global, then you are living your dream – and it is no longer work.

I am committed to sharing knowledge. After all, it is of no value if it stays with me so take the next 20 or 30 minutes to walk your journey with me.

I know that as you are sitting here making notes you may have some fears, but above all what you are feeling is that incredible excitement of possibility – that energy sitting in your belly. Stay focused on that. Acknowledge it and know that this is what you will feel every day when you do what you love! Hold that moment and also recognise the impact and value that you will bring to those around you. You are now also creating the path that allows your children, nieces and nephews – our future generation – to see you being the best version of you.

Your message in that moment is so loud visually. I know that if you look at yourself right now, you will have a grin from ear to ear because you are experiencing what you want for your future self.

When my daughter announced that she was heading to Africa at 17 years of age there were many reasons that could have led to her not going, but we all know that when we hold back from doing something that we love, a part of us is lost along the way. My part in this journey was to help her navigate through the risks, redefine the value and impact on those that she would meet and recognise her growth despite the potential challenges that she would face – beyond culture and language there was the unknown and fear.

Now your dream might be to become the CEO of a not-for-profit or to rise to the C-suite and both options are brilliant. Regardless of your dream, the same process applies for you.
