Morning body connection practice level-up…

-

This is perfect if your relationship with your body is disconnected. Remember whatever is left undealt with mentally, emotionally or spiritually WILL show up in your body as a physical issue. Likewise, everything we do to SUPPORT ourselves in one area of our life WILL also flow on to support us in other areas of our life.

In order to fully evolve, grow and be our best, most optimised version of ourselves we need to address ‘all the things’—body, mind, heart and spirit.

So, if you’ve ignored your body and the signs she’s speaking to you, it will hold you back from fully blooming in other areas.

Follow steps 1-5 as above. Then: a) Move your hands to place them over the centre of your chest in line with your heart. Feel this energetic heart centre. How does your heart feel? Is she open? Closed? Soft or armoured? b) Now ask your heart: a. ‘What do you need?’… Wait to hear her response. b. ‘Is there anything you need to tell me?’… Wait to

hear her response c. ‘What can I do/be to support you today?’... Wait

for the response. c) If you have time, move one or both of your hands to another part of your body and repeat this process. This is a multi-layered practice. So, what’s happening here?

1) By facing the sun in the morning you are resetting your circadian rhythm, bringing your body clock back in time. This reduces ‘chaos’ in the body and harmonises it. 2) Early morning sunlight also makes you happier and helps you sleep better by telling your body to make:

* Serotonin, the happy hormone; and

* Melatonin, the ultimate sleep hormone and super powerful antioxidant. You release melatonin at night in darkness, but you make it in the morning.

3) Having your feet placed on the ground ‘earths’ you and pours free electrons into your body. This lowers inflammation and stress, slows down aging, improves blood flow and immunity, speeds up healing and makes you stronger and healthier.

4) Early morning sun primes your skin to handle harsher light later in the day so you are less likely to burn or develop skin cancers from either sunlight or artificial blue light (yes, that’s a thing!).

5) Breathing through your nose supports immunity and directly impacts your nervous system. a. Breathing IN turns ON your fight/flight/freeze

system. b. Breathing OUT turns ON your rest/digest system. c. Breathing out for longer than you breathe in lowers stress levels and as a result lowers inflammation which is a precursor to most diseases. d. Nose breathing supports immunity, health and

wellness in many ways. Make this a habit!

6) Gratitude is one of the highest emotions (only trumped by true, unconditional, pure love). Tapping into gratitude, and really meaning it, is one of the fastest ways to level-up your body, heart, mind and spirit. If you really feel grateful every day, your body will begin to harmonise more. Weight-loss just from being grateful and generous to yourself happens!

7) Directly connecting to your body and communicating with her as the intelligent, loving and wise being that she is, is incredibly powerful! If you’re willing to listen to her she WILL speak to you.

Your body is highly intelligent, resourceful, incredibly resilient and unbelievably WISE!

Listen to her, trust her. Your body is on your side! She wants nothing more than to be in harmony with you and your environment.
