Wake up and hydrate with hot lemon and ginger in a cup—Squeeze the juice of ½ a lemon, grate a small piece of ginger and mix ½ tsp of raw honey into hot water and stir.

Meditation—Find 10 minutes to create a beautiful space where you can practice mindfulnes­s. You could do some grounding exercises. Grounding is the process of becoming aware of your emotional, physical, mental and energy state. You can practice this by being aware of your five senses.

Journaling and practicing gratitude—Start by putting on a timer of 10 minutes then do a brain dump of whatever comes into your mind. Once you have finished, write three things that you are blessed and grateful for.

Set an intention—Ask yourself what is it that you want to create for the day? Write that down and close your eyes. Take five deep breaths in and out, feel into your heart space and feel into that intention for the day. What does that feel like? What does it look like? Does it feel light, heavy, exciting, relaxing etc.?

Ask yourself, how do I show up as the best version of myself?

Stretch / move—Time is precious to all of us. Complete a 10-minute workout of either HIIT or yoga, Pilates, stretch, walking or whatever you feel into that day. It will get your blood circulatin­g, your endorphins pumping, putting you in a feel-good state and setting you up to take on your day!

Nourishing your body—Continue your beautiful morning routine by preparing a healthy, high protein breakfast that is going to ensure that you fuel your body correctly and help start the day off right! Create my morning green smoothie!

Start by getting up 30 minutes earlier in the mornings and over time you may be able to increase this to longer.

As you develop your morning routine, you will notice an increase in your confidence and self-esteem. Remember to always practice selfcompas­sion, self-love and acceptance. You are working on building a healthier mindset and habits over time.
