As your twenties loom, most teenagers are worrying about careers, travelling, ‘finding themselves’ and, if they can be arsed, university, but for Sam Morgan that isn’t quite the case.

While sitting his As-levels in 2017, the young entrepreneur founded his ‘personal shopper’ Instagram page, SM Creps. Now, with a current follower count of 121,000, he sells “limited edition/sold out sneakers and clothes” to the most affluent names in football, with some of them spending up to £22,000 at a time.

His first big sale was to Arsenal’s Cohen Bramall, but the breakthrough came after Spurs’ 2017 Champions League tie against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.

On the trip back from the Spanish capital, Tottenham right-back Kyle Walker-peters introduced Son Heung-min to the teen’s popular Instagram page. The South Korean fashionista happened to be searching for a handful of Gucci pieces which appeared to have sold out everywhere. Morgan, however, claimed he could find them and delivered within just two days. After that, he was in.

Two years on and the youngster has had dealings with hundreds of elite-level players. “It just snowballs from one player to another player, to another player... as long as you’re providing a good service that’s it, you’re set.” explained Morgan in an interview with the BBC.

Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil, Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne, Dele Alli and half of the England team – they all turn to ‘The Plug’ – a nickname given to him by Paul Pogba – for everything from Off-white tracksuits, Givenchy hoodies and Alexander Mcqueen trainers. “I’ve always been selling,” claims Morgan “It’s the same now, but on a much bigger level.”
