Things we know about Abel Xavier: he didn’t mean to do that handball during the Euro 2000 semi- final against France ( OK, he probably did), and his hairstyle was the stuff of legend. Xavier took his blond peroxide appearance to the extreme, adding a beard and even toying with a mohawk for a bit. We salute you.
