2008 FA CUP SEMIS

Portsmouth, West Bromwich Albion, Cardiff City and Barnsley comprised the last four of 2007- 08’ s competition – the first time in 100 years that the semi- final line- up had one top- flight team. Barnsley dispatched both Chelsea and Liverpool en route, while Pompey ousted Manchester United ( who’d beaten Arsenal and Spurs to reach the quarter- finals). Naturally, the Premier League outfit triumphed as Harry Redknapp’s mob beat Cardiff at Wembley.
