Last season was so disappointing. Supporters were hoping to build on two seventh- placed finishes.

This season will be different to

last because Bruno Lage could reshape everything we’ve seen at Molineux recently – different team, different system, different regime.

I won’t be happy unless the team plays better football and we make positive signings. Transfer windows have been underwhelming over the last couple of campaigns, and the football was extremely boring under Nuno last season.

Our most underrated player is Nelson Semedo. He had a very slow start to last season, but impressed a lot towards the end.

Look out for 20- year- old American midfielder Owen Otasowie.

The opposition player I secretly admire is Ruben Dias. Wolves were strongly linked with him a few years ago – I’m so jealous we never quite signed him up! The pantomime villain will be

VAR... again? It was used superbly at the Euros – let’s just hope the Premier League have taken note.

Other clubs’ fans don’t know that Wolves’ match against Budapest Honved in 1954 was important for the formation of the European Cup.

Our key player will be Pedro Neto. He was phenomenal last season until injury cut it slightly short. Lots of bigger clubs are said to be keen. The fans’ opinion of the gaffer is mixed. Lage had a really impressive record at Benfica, but has very little experience otherwise. A portion of fans are dubious about his arrival.

We’ll finish in the top half, though not high enough to get into Europe.
