MILTON KEYNES DONS
Last season was promising footballwise, as we showed lots of potential.
The big talking point among the fans is who stays and who goes. There have been a few clubs sniffing around Scott Fraser, who quickly established himself as a key man. This season will be different to last because ‘ the process’ seems to have been trusted now and the expectations are higher. I’ve really missed long train trips with friends... and early beers. I won’t be happy unless fans stop jumping on the manager’s back after one defeat or bad performance. Our most underrated player is
Warren O’hora. From January he was often overshadowed by Harry Darling, but rarely puts a foot wrong. Look out for forward Jay Bird. This season, he could make his mark.
The opposition player I secretly admire is ex- Don Shaun Williams – a fantastic signing for Pompey. I’d have loved him back at Stadium: MK. The one change I’d make would be to get the new training ground sorted. It’s been a slow process.
Save the date for April 9, 2022: the first Plough Lane return with fans.
The best thing about matchday at MK Dons is meeting up with friends early. Nervous excitement washed down with a few beers.
The ground I’m most looking forward to visiting is Home Park, Plymouth. It’s brilliant that this is the last game of the season.
The best MK Dons social media account is @ Donsaction, who are doing great things to increase fan cohesion and fan/ club relationships.
Our key player will be Scott Fraser [ above]. Terrific first season – can’t wait to see what the second brings. The fans’ opinion of the gaffer is that we love him. Russell Martin [ below] gets the club and has got us playing ‘ the MK way’. He was criticised when results weren’t with us, but he has our confidence now. If he left, he should be replaced by
Oxford’s Karl Robinson. I’d love to see him back at the club one day. We’ll finish in the play- offs – that’s our realistic aim.
