I grew up with a stutter, and as soon as I entered adolescence, the social stress of a speech impediment manifested itself as anxiety and bouts of depression. To stay on top of my mental health, I regularly exercise; socialise with good people; say yes to things that take me out of my comfort zone; focus on bigger world issues outside of my own 'bubble'; limit drinking alcohol to weekends only; and ensure I get lots of sleep.
