Hey Claire! Tell us a little about yourself. I’m a Perth gal currently living in Brisbane. I design and make a collection of brightly coloured, bold and uplifting clothes, homewares and accessories

from my delightful garden studio. Describe your style in five words. Energetic, vibrant, positive, thoughtful, unique. You’ve recently branched out into homewares – what can we find in your

collection? Yes! I’m so excited to be offering these lovely pieces. I have the Pyramid cushion – the cherry on top of that stash of pillows on your bed or couch. There’s also a classic square-shaped cushion, tea towels and napkins, all available in a few new bright and zingy prints. For you, what makes a house feel like a home?

Having objects, furniture and colours around that make me happy.

Why is it so important to you to be surrounded by colour? Colour makes me happy and I use that in my work. I use my surroundings as my colour palette – whether I’m in my studio or kitchen, I’m constantly looking for colour combinations, and seeing colours pop all around me can be so uplifting. What’s your design ethos?

Thoughtful design has always been a big part of how I work. I hope the quality and integrity of my designs inspires people to think about what they’re buying and where it comes from. Where can we find

your goodies? On my website, claireritchie.com.au. I also have a few stockists (their details can be found on the website) and I’m popping up at the Finders Keepers market in Brisbane this June. Yay!
