RED SEAL BAKING SODA TOOTHPASTE

- CC

It’s rare that you find a mattefinish tube of toothpaste – and that’s not all that’s delightful about this mouth-cleaning product from Red Seal. This shit is gritty and I dig it. The old baking-soda-on-thetoothbrush trick usually tastes and feels real gross, but Red Seal have managed to make a baking soda-based paste that doesn’t leave you gagging. In fact, it left my mouth feeling clean and fresh, which is more than I can say for the rest of me. It tastes a bit like minty licorice and has a good level of sting – your eyes don’t water, but you do wind up with that cool menthol and eucalyptus feel. Sure, gritty aniseedtasting toothpaste won’t appeal to everyone, but if you’re after something organic and nasty-free that will have your chompers feeling dentistclean, leave the baking soda in the cupboard and give this a go.
