If you’ve befouled a toilet and are on a budget, this could be the choice for you. The home-brand product claims to “indulge your senses with fragrances of fresh linen”, accurately simulating the unbridled joy of falling facefirst into a linen press. Not a lot of effort appears to have been put into the design, but that could actually be a positive. It’s as if you’re saying, “I’m not here to get fancy; I’m here to eliminate foul odours, and hell itself can get behind me.” Though this air freshener does an undeniably good job of covering up unpleasant smells from your bathroom, it will leave a question in your guests' minds: did they just flush a full sheet set down the toilet? I’ve always said that toilet air fresheners are much like Watergate: it’s not the crime, it’s the cover-up.
