CHAPSTICK CONDITIONER LIP BALM

This is a bit of an unfair field for Chapstick to compete in. It’s like the time I entered a beauty contest at the local shopping centre as a freckle-faced eight-year-old in a purple taffeta gown. I stood no chance against the blonde, bronzed beauties in Daisy Dukes. But just like me, Chapstick is the reliable, no-frills, basic balm everyone needs in their arsenal. There are no bells and whistles (and thankfully no purple taffeta), but there is SPF15, aloe vera and vitamin E. This is a balm anyone would happily use at the height of winter, or before heading out for a run on a summer’s day. This Chapstick conditioner balm has no scent I could detect, making it even more broadly appealing. It doesn’t show up in a noticeable way, but just takes the dull edge off your crusty lips. It’s the perfect plan B for when you can’t find your fancy salve. Keep one in the glove box.
