Street harassment is already high up on the list of all-time sucky things. But what makes it worse is how we’re expected to just brush it off. What kind of BS is that? Melbourne organisation It’s Not A Compliment launched specifically to fight against these attitudes. Their project, Your Stories Matter, is collecting stories of street harassment – including where it happens and what it looks like – with the ultimate goal of informing Melbourne’s city planning to provide safer streets for all.
