Tea or coffee? Madi Hanley: Coffee because it wakes me up for the day! Chris Bye: Coffee because it’s got a better buzz than tea. Matt Breen: Coffee because tea doesn’t give me enough caffeine to give me the shakes. Alex Whitman: Tea because I’m secretly a 90-year-old grandma. Performing or songwriting? MH: Performing because I enjoy connecting with people at our shows. CB: Performing – I love the excitement and the energy that I feel walking on and off stage. MB: Songwriting, because whenever I hear a new song coming together in the studio, I get goosebumps. AW: Songwriting fills my cup! Beach or forest? MH: This one was tricky because I grew up around lots of trees, but I can’t go past a good beach swim. CB: Beach because you can’t beat a good snorkelling session. MB: Beach, especially in Western Australia. AW: Forest because I need to be in the shade at all times. Being late or being early? MH: Being late because nobody is perfect. CB: Late – is anyone ever on time to a band rehearsal? MB: I don’t like being the first person there, so late. AW: I haven’t ever tried being early, but I’ve heard it’s great. Comedy or drama? MH: Comedy because I love a silly movie. CB: Drama because I’m a big fan of a cliff-hanger. MB: Comedy – dramas make me sleepy. AW: Comedy because I love having a lol. TV or movies? MH: TV – I love a good binge watch and I appreciate that shows really flesh out characters and make you fall in love with them. CB: Movies. I prefer something shorter that cuts to the point. MB: Movies, and Harry Potter is why. AW: TV because I’m easily distracted.
