TO­DAY Poly­ne­sian Fam­ily Feast Fundraiser WHEN: 5.30pm

WHERE: Her­vey Bay Neigh­bour­hood Cen­tre WHAT: Help raise funds for Ton­gan fam­i­lies af­fected by Trop­i­cal Cy­clone Gita with this night of feast­ing and danc­ing.

Poly­ne­sian dancers and DJ Jerry Brown will present through­out the night.

COST: $40 per per­son, $20 for chil­dren Burnouts

WHEN: Gates open 10am, burnouts start 1pm

WHERE: Mary­bor­ough Speedway

WHAT: Watch that rub­ber fly as rac­ers from all over the re­gion put on a burnouts dis­play at the Mary­bor­ough Speedway. Classes in­clude six cylin­der, eight cylin­der, opens and ladies.

COST: Adults $20, pen­sion­ers and stu­dents $15, chil­dren un­der 12 free, fam­i­lies (two adults and two stu­dents) $55 SSAA Fraser Coast Ladies Day WHEN: 9am-4pm

WHERE: Shoot­ing Range, Churchill Mine Rd, Wal­libum WHAT: A day on the shoot­ing range for women on the Fraser Coast.

This event is de­signed for women aged 11 years and older. Bring ID, cov­ered shoes and hear­ing pro­tec­tion. Bar­be­cue lunch in­cluded.

COST: $5 per per­son Uran­gan Pier Mar­kets WHEN: 7am-1pm

WHERE: Pier Park, Uran­gan WHAT: Pier Park com­mu­nity mar­kets run every Sat­ur­day, with plenty of food, drink and en­ter­tain­ment on offer. COST: Free SUN­DAY In­de­pen­dent Rid­ers Aus­tralia Show and Shine WHEN: Reg­is­tra­tion 7.30-11.30am, win­ners an­nounced 12.30pm WHERE: Fraser Coast Wildlife Sanc­tu­ary

WHAT: The an­nual Mo­tors in May show and shine event is back. Help choose the best cars and bikes in a range of cat­e­gories, rang­ing from Fords to Hot Rods.

COST: Gold coin en­try, reg­is­tra­tion $5 Colour Stam­pede 2018 WHEN: 10am-2pm

WHERE: Su­san River Homestead

WHAT: Join oth­ers in a cel­e­bra­tion of colour, good vibes and mu­sic at Su­san River, raising money for For­get Me Not Aus­tralia.

COST: $45 for gen­eral ad­mis­sion at the gate Z-PAC Coun­try, Rock and Blues Club WHEN: 6pm WHERE: Ze­phyr St Theatre WHAT: Mu­sic starts at 6pm and con­tin­ues un­til 10pm. Come for the whole evening or just drop in for a drink at the li­censed bar.
