Improve the roads

Fraser Coast Chronicle - - YOUR SAY -

I HAVE requested on numerous occasions for the Road North from Noosa, Cooloola Way.

I have expressed that this road would bring in millions of dollars each year through employment, tourism and visitors. This road would service the Gympie Region and Fraser Coast. It is the Division Of Wide Bay, a National Party Seat that is represented by Llew O’Brien and formerly Warren Truss. We are the lowest socio-economic area in Australia. Until we are serviced by a road, I will make it clearly known of the distress that these communities are going through. After completing their education our children have to leave the community to find employment, followed by their parents and grandparents. The shopkeepers are struggling and employment is at a minimum. Sir, the community is not begging, but will be looking for an outcome, due to the failure of our plea.
