M’BORO TOWN HALL CELEBRATES 110 YEARS
Join in on the City Hall festivities this weekend
JOIN us this weekend as the region celebrates 110 years of Maryborough’s centrepiece – the City Hall.
Behind her grand columns, the Maryborough City Hall stores thousands of stories which span generations.
As part of the celebrations you will be able to hear those stories – told by the people who know them best, the residents of Maryborough as they share the memories that this building holds for them.
The special display featuring stories from residents, photographs and artefacts will be installed in the auditorium entrance.
You can also share your personal memories of City Hall (or Maryborough) by following @FraserCoastRC and using the hash tag# My Mary borough Story on Ins tagram and Twitter.
To mark the occasion, walking tour guides will conduct free guided tours of the City Hall on:
● Saturday, 16 June: 10am, 11am, 2pm and 5.30pm
● Sunday, 17 June: 10am and 11am.
Meet under the grand columns at the front of the building.
