Hidden Valley plan revealed
MOTORSPORT: Nissan Motorsport’s Rick Kelly is hoping for some better luck at Darwin’s Hidden Valley Raceway this weekend.
The 2006 Supercars champion’s past two poles have come in Darwin, in 2015 and 2017, but those races included a first-corner incident and a crash. His latest Hidden Valley podium came in 2015 when he grabbed third spot from seventh on the grid.
Eighth in the championship, Kelly told supercars.com: “I’ve had poles and wins (at Hidden Valley) but we haven’t had a Saturday and Sunday up the front. So heading there this weekend, that’s definitely the one that we want to tick off.”
