Bias and emotion outweigh rational thought when it comes to politics.
Locked into what is basically a two party system and battered by a media that is itself mostly biased, what hope has Democracy got?
Some questions the electorate really has to ask itself; do the Labor, Liberal and National parties really represent their base and original ideals? In an environment where money is God, what hope does an Independent or new political party have of getting elected?
What benefit is Question Time to the electorate, are the questions ever answered?
Sadly, a government of the people, for the people and by the people is dying, in fact it’s, in my view, on it’s last gasp. JOHN A NEVE,
