Police are investigating five suspicious fires at Perth tattoo parlours between March and August 2018, including one that occurred at a South Street premises on May 9.
Each of the five fires started during the early hours of the morning when unknown offenders set fire to a number of items within the tattoo parlours.
Significant damage was caused in each incident and police believe they are linked. The other fires were in Baldivis, Bedford, Rockingham and Medina.
Police want to speak to anyone who saw suspicious activity, people or vehicles near these buildings, or who have dash cam footage around the area, to come forward. Rewards of up to $50,000 are available for information which leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers. A woman was taken to hospital suffering serious burns after a house fire in Hamilton Hill on Tuesday, September 4.
Emergency services attended the Bitton Street address just after 7pm. The woman, believed to be aged in her 50s, was taken to Fiona Stanley Hospital. A 47-year-old North Coogee man has been charged with four counts of corruption following a joint investigation between WA Police and the Corruption and Crime Commission.
The investigation began in March 2016 and the CCC recently released a report that stated the man, along with a 43-year-old Salter Point man, allegedly conspired to use their positions at the WA electricity provider to send work to a company they controlled.
Both men will appear in At 1am on Sunday, August 19, a man was walking along South Terrace while holding a plastic cup.
As he passed a set of table and chairs, he threw the cup and hit a woman in the face. This caused the woman to lose consciousness after she fell backwards off her chair and hit her head on the ground.
The man then walked away from the area without offering help.
Police want to speak to the man pictured.
