“RTRFM has been for­tu­nate that Stu has ded­i­cated him­self to work­ing for the sta­tion that gave his band, in­deed gives vir­tu­ally all WA orig­i­nal bands, their first airplay,” he said.

“Fair­bridge Fes­ti­val, like RTRFM, is a trea­sured com­mu­nity or­gan­i­sa­tion and we couldn’t be hap­pier to see Stu take the lead­er­ship skills he has honed with us to lead­ing the fes­ti­val to greater heights.”

RTRFM is now look­ing for its next gen­eral man­ager, with de­tails and ex­pres­sions of in­ter­est ex­pected soon.

“It’s go­ing to be some­one who can multi-task and spin a lot of plates at once,” Mr MacLeod said.
