AT 10am on Novem­ber 8, the po­lice he­li­copter spot­ted a Nis­san Navara be­ing driven from a ser­vice sta­tion on Wan­neroo Road, West­min­ster, after an al­leged theft of fuel.

The he­li­copter di­rected po­lice on the ground to an in­ter­cept in Tuart Hill.

The driver al­legedly ran away be­fore be­ing ar­rested.

A po­lice search of the Nis­san found cannabis and methy­lam­phetamine, a glass smok­ing im­ple­ment and a weapon. A 29-year-old East Fre­man­tle man was charged with steal­ing, car­ry­ing or pos­sess­ing a con­trolled weapon and breach of bail.

A 40-year-old Lock­ridge man has been charged with pos­sess­ing a pro­hib­ited drug and para­pher­na­lia, steal­ing, no au­thor­ity to drive, pos­ses­sion of stolen or un­law­fully ob­tained prop­erty and breach of bail. DRUGS and more than $25,000 in cash were found in a car in For­rest­dale on Satur­day, Novem­ber 3.

About 2.20am, Traf­fic En­force­ment Group of­fi­cers stopped a Nis­san Sky­line on Ran­ford Road. Po­lice said a search found the cash, about 160g of methy­lam­phetamine, drug para­pher­na­lia and two stun guns in the ve­hi­cle.

The Kew­dale man (29) was charged with pos­ses­sion with in­tent to sell or sup­ply, pos­sess­ing drug para­pher­na­lia, pro­hib­ited weapons and un­law­fully ob­tained prop­erty, and a re­turn to prison war­rant. TWO men have been charged over a road rage shoot­ing in­ci­dent on Novem­ber 14.

About 6.20pm, a white 2003 Hyundai Getz hatch­back was trav­el­ling east along Dodd Street be­hind a sil­ver Hyundai Elantra sedan be­fore both ve­hi­cles stopped at the in­ter­sec­tion with Fred­er­ick Street.

Po­lice al­lege a pas­sen­ger in the Getz got out and pointed what ap­peared to be a hand­gun at the oc­cu­pants of the Elantra and fired at least five shots at the ve­hi­cle. The Getz was stopped by po­lice in Fre­man­tle a short time later and the pas­sen­ger taken into cus­tody.

De­tec­tives have charged the 47-year-old Wil­lagee pas­sen­ger with go­ing armed in a way that may cause fear. He will ap­pear in court on De­cem­ber 11.

The 49-year-old driver from South Fre­man­tle will be sum­monsed to ap­pear in court after po­lice also found heroin and cannabis.

De­tec­tives would like to speak to any­one who saw the in­ci­dent, par­tic­u­larly the driver of the sil­ver Hyundai Elantra that was trav­el­ling east along Dodd Street. Call Crime Stop­pers.
