AT 10am on November 8, the police helicopter spotted a Nissan Navara being driven from a service station on Wanneroo Road, Westminster, after an alleged theft of fuel.
The helicopter directed police on the ground to an intercept in Tuart Hill.
The driver allegedly ran away before being arrested.
A police search of the Nissan found cannabis and methylamphetamine, a glass smoking implement and a weapon. A 29-year-old East Fremantle man was charged with stealing, carrying or possessing a controlled weapon and breach of bail.
A 40-year-old Lockridge man has been charged with possessing a prohibited drug and paraphernalia, stealing, no authority to drive, possession of stolen or unlawfully obtained property and breach of bail. DRUGS and more than $25,000 in cash were found in a car in Forrestdale on Saturday, November 3.
About 2.20am, Traffic Enforcement Group officers stopped a Nissan Skyline on Ranford Road. Police said a search found the cash, about 160g of methylamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and two stun guns in the vehicle.
The Kewdale man (29) was charged with possession with intent to sell or supply, possessing drug paraphernalia, prohibited weapons and unlawfully obtained property, and a return to prison warrant. TWO men have been charged over a road rage shooting incident on November 14.
About 6.20pm, a white 2003 Hyundai Getz hatchback was travelling east along Dodd Street behind a silver Hyundai Elantra sedan before both vehicles stopped at the intersection with Frederick Street.
Police allege a passenger in the Getz got out and pointed what appeared to be a handgun at the occupants of the Elantra and fired at least five shots at the vehicle. The Getz was stopped by police in Fremantle a short time later and the passenger taken into custody.
Detectives have charged the 47-year-old Willagee passenger with going armed in a way that may cause fear. He will appear in court on December 11.
The 49-year-old driver from South Fremantle will be summonsed to appear in court after police also found heroin and cannabis.
